Training and Development Work within the Public and Voluntary Sectors

Gulshan has extensive experience of working with a wide range of public and voluntary sector organisations. She has:

n provided training for local councils and universities/colleges in EO and Diversity; performance management and appraisal; recruitment and selection

n supported local councils and organisations such as the police to develop and refine their processes and reports for Equality Impact Assessments

n been a member of governance boards in the health, policing and voluntary sectors and indeed was Chair of Suffolk Police Authority for five years

n worked with the College of Policing on recruitment and selection at all levels including the most senior within the police service

n facilitated strategic planning sessions across public and voluntary sector organisations

n developed approaches to managing performance at an individual and organisational level for local councils and the police

n worked in health as a commissioner on a Clinical Commissioning Group as the lead for promoting patient and public engagement and involvement in local health provision.
